Until last year, I had never been on an international flight that had taken me overseas. I had been to places such as Mexico, Canada and St. Lucia but all of these are flights that are still around four hours or less. The thought of being on a plane for nine hours or more kind of terrified me. What the heck was I going to do for that long on a plane? I am a chronic over-packer and knew I there was NO way I would be able to pack for a week long international trip in just a carry-on. I did want to make sure I packed a carry-on with items that would keep me entertained and help me feel my best (or as best as you can with jet leg) to my destination. After two international trips under my belt now, I have complied a list of items that I think are great to have with you and available on the plane.
I had the pleasure of attending The Blog Societies Conference in Charleston for the second time and it was another amazing experience. It wouldn’t have been quite the same with out these lovely Houston blogger babes, Karen, Brittany and Alice that I roomed with. We had such a great time and so many laughs during our stay. I think we also managed to successfully eat our way through Charleston. #Noshame. Today, we are joining forces to share what we wore on the last day of the conference.
Santorini, Greece is a place I have had on my bucket list for years. I can say after spending a week there that is truly as picturesque and beautiful as all of the pictures you see. I had so many moments while we were there that I just stopped and thought, “Is this real life?” If I had one word to describe this island it would be magical. While my husband and I had discussed island hopping, in the end we decided to spend the full week in Santorini and we were so happy with our decision. With that being said, I learned a lot and have some great tips for any future trip you might have to Santorini.
