Target Bar Cart Hack
Are you sick of hearing about my Target Threshold Bar Cart yet? Welllllllllll Sorry because you are about to hear a little more about it. I just talked about my love for it on my Friday Favorites and how I was going to update the cart. This weekend was rainy and cold in Houston and perfect for some DIY projects around the house. I wanted to give the cart a glam update and I felt the the wood was not the perfect match for my dining room. I had seen people on Pinterest update it with mirrors (which I LOVE) but I fell in love with this marble contact paper hack from My Little Secrets. I ordered DC Fix 346-0306 Adhesive Film from Amazon (Prime eligible…yessss!) and now I want to put it on everything. It is easy to work with and looks fabulous. I used a safety razor knife to cut the paper and trim the excess. The paper has a grid on the back so it it super easy to cut a straight line. Derek did help when I laid the paper down so there weren’t as many bubbles to push out. If you do end up with some bubbles, you can use a credit card to smooth them out. I could not be happier with the end result. I mean it looks like I replaced this wood with real marble! UHHHH-mazing!!
This process is so easy and makes such a HUGE impact! It looks like a completely different Bar Cart to me.
I started decorating my cart for Valentines day with this heart banner and red and pink straws!
Cheers to fun and easy DIY projects!
